Cowboys slay the Dragons, advance to No. 3 in Colorado

MEEKER I The Cowboy football team remains undefeated (5-0) after pounding the Holyoke Dragons by a 50-7 score on a neutral field in Denver on Saturday. With the win, Meeker moved up in the Maxpreps rankings to No. 3 in the state.

Spartans v-ball opens league

RANGELY I The CNCC Spartan volleyball team will take on the No. 3 nationally ranked team from College of Southern Idaho tonight at 7 p.m. The match will be live streamed at www.ihigh.com/csi/

Business lunch set for Friday

MEEKER I Any business leaders, people interested in networking or people interested in improving Meeker are invited to enjoy a luncheon on Friday with other business owners and leaders to talk about ideas and ways to improve business.

Long-time CNCC dental hygiene teachers retiring

RANGELY I Colorado Northwestern Community College dental hygiene faculty Barbara and Mark Patterson are used to adventures. They’ve shepherded generations of students into an ever-evolving profession. They have been a part of that evolution themselves. They wouldn’t have had it any other way.
