RBC | Please join us to celebrate three significant developments of the Milk Creek Battlefield Park on the 140th anniversary of the battle on Saturday, Sept. 28 beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Milk Creek Battlefield Park. There will be a presentation of the colors by the VFW, dedication of the new signage, celebration of the life and contributions of Joe Sullivan to the Park, and a presentation of how the monument to the Ute warriors came to be and its significance by Robert Chapoose.
