Cedar Ridges hosts golf tourneys

RANGELY I It was women-only last Saturday on the Cedar Ridges Golf Course where a three-lady scramble was played. Sunday, men and women played in a two-person scramble to benefit the Rangely High School football team.
Susan, Amber and Heather Nicholson of Craig were the best golfers on the course, as the trio had the best gross score. Lynn Lijenberg, Kathy Short and Debbie Kirch finished with the second best score.
Rangely’s Janet Mackay, Kelli Neiberger and Calista Raley finished with the best net score and two teams tied for the second best net score. Hannah Walz teamed up with Cori and Trilby Elam to tie with Leilanie Morgan, Ann Brady and June Dotson for second place net honors.
Ellen Boudreaux, Teresa Broderick and Lindsey Blake finished with the third best gross score in the 18-hole tournament.
Former golf pros Dennis Rohn and Dave Way won the two-person, 18-hole scramble, which was played to raise funds for the Panther football team. Blake Murray and Kendall Goodwin had the second best gross score in the first flight.
Justin Halcomb and Terry Richardson had a better net score than Meeker’s Lex Collins and Andy Coryell to round out the placers in the first flight.
Bryan Mackay and Mark Neumeier won the second flight with the best gross score, giving Teresa Broderick and Leilanie Morgan second. Jack Richen and Andy Shafer turned in a better net score than Jon Templeton and Nick Lancaster.
