MEEKER I There were two inadvertent editing errors in a front page article in last week’s Herald Times regarding the Rangely school board.
Early in the article, the story stated that the state is considering increasing school funding by 2.8. percent. That was followed by the statement that (Superintendent) Scoggins suggested the board consider giving 2 percentage points of the increase as a raise in salaries when it should have stated that Scoggins suggested the board consider giving 2 percent of the total 2.8 percent increase as a raise in salaries.
Also, Rangely Junior/Senior High School Prinicipal K.D. Bryant was inadvertently identified as a “he,’ when, in fact, Bryant is a woman.
