Patricia Ellen Thompson is survived by her best friend and husband of 33 years Bud Thompson, daughter Heather Kinnamon and two granddaughters. She was born in New York City, N.Y., to Emmanuel Homer and Millicent Vello Guillis.
After moving around the globe for a good part of her early years, she settled down in California. In 1990 she settled down in Meeker, Colo., and was very proud to call this place home. As an intelligent and educated woman, she earned her Master’s degree in social work from the University of San Francisco. She had passion and dedication for the protection and welfare of children, and this was seen through her work and involvement in the community.
As a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, she was also a hard-working woman who never let the obstacles of life stand in her way. Patricia loved to travel and experience new cultures. Egypt, Italy, Greece, Mexico, Tahiti and Bora Bora are just a few of the many places in which she found adventure.
Patricia Thompson was loved by many and will be remembered forever in our hearts.
