RBC | The two Democratic candidates, Diane Mitsch Bush and Karl Hanlon, vying to oppose Third District Congressman Scott Tipton, R-Cortez, will be in Meeker this Sunday, March 11. They will attend the Rio Blanco County Democratic Assembly to be held at 1 p.m. at the Meeker Public Library, 490 Main St. Also attending will be Glenwood Springs attorney Colin Wilhelm who has announced to run for the State House District 57 seat currently held by Rep. Bob Rankin (R-Carbondale). Interested parties are welcome to attend the Assembly in which selected delegates will also determine the county Democrats’ preference for their gubernatorial candidates prior to April’s state assembly.
