MEEKER — This week’s “home of” honorees are Mike and Kathy Sizemore of Meeker. Mike is Meeker native. Kathy moved here in 1976. They have been married 19 years. Mike is self-employed and Kathy is the police department secretary and water clerk for the Town of Meeker. Kathy has worked for the town for 21 years. The Sizemores have three children: their daughter Abigail Welle, husband Jake and daughter Sarah of Meeker; daughter Sarah, a junior at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley majoring in elementary education and sports science and son James, a junior at Meeker High School. Mike and Kathy enjoy snowmobiling and other outdoor activities. When asked what she likes most about Meeker, Kathy replied, “It’s been a great place to raise a family and the family-type atmosphere of a small town.”
