MEEKER I This is our monthly Marvelous Mutts report. On Monday, March 15, our first day, we elected officers! President Faith Goedert, vice president Mikayla Cardile, secretary Kirsten Brown, treasurer Addie Joy, reporter Mason Holliday, council representatives are Matilda Brown and Kolbi Franklin, and last but not least, our pledge leader is Sydney Cochran. Also, without our dogs, we learned what we will be doing in class, and some of the basics of dog obedience.
Our next meeting was March 19, our second day! Today was our dog’s first day! While some were calm, others were the wildest things on earth! We also had two demonstrations; one by Sydney Cochran and Dillan Schmidt did one also. They were both very interesting and fun. The next thing we did was walk around and do sit, stand, and down with our dogs. Also, to award our dogs we gave them some yummy dog treats. Then the day was over; most dogs did a great job for their first day!
