Best wishes to everyone participating in the Rio Blanco County Fair this coming week.
Last week’s rain sparked a few wildfires in RBC, one of which is visible from Hwy. 13 north of Meeker.
Ian Poole, who recently returned from Iraq, was struck by lightning last week over on the eastern slope. We’re glad to report he’s doing just fine. After a brief stay in an emergency room, Ian was released and went out to get some dinner.
