Relay for Life team meets June 11
RANGELY — There will be a Rio Blanco County Relay For Life planning meeting Wednesday, June 11 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
The meeting will be at CNCC’s Weiss conference room in Rangely. Next month’s meeting is July 9. Meetings are the second Wednesday of each month until the relay. For more information, contact Leana Cox at 675-3334 or 675-2340.

Community
breakfast set for June 14
RANGELY — There will be a community breakfast Saturday, June 14 at Elks Park in Rangely from 8:30-10 a.m. Bring your family for a great breakfast. The cost is $4 a person or $3 a family member if you bring your family. The event is hosted by Rangely LDS Church.

Sportsman’s Club meets tonight at Kilowatt Korner
MEEKER — The Meeker Sportsman’s Club’s monthly meeting is tonight, June 5, at the the Kilowatt Korner, 233 Sixth St. beginning at 7 p.m. New members welcome.

Jarvie Ranch
festival set for
June 14
BROWNS PARK — There will be a free spring festival at John Jarvie Ranch Historical Site in Brown’s Park for the family, Saturday, June 14, beginning at 10 a.m. For more information, call (970) 269-3000 or (970) 272-3213.

Community event to benefit Robledo
RANGELY — Columbine Medical invites the public to a community yard sale and fund raiser to benefit Celena Robledo. Robledo a senior at Rangely High School who was recently involved in a serious car crash and has suffered a cervical spine injury.
The community yard sale will be at the Early Education Center at 402 West Main St. on Saturday, June 21 from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Anyone wishing to sell, donate or participate in any way should contact Columbine Medical at (970) 675-3030.
Wallace and Debra Salter say they would love to see as many people there as possible, and they hope hope, with the community’s help, to come up with some creative ways to help Celena and her family.
Tammy Dunker is planning to offer massages for those who donate, and the Salters are working to get matching funds from some area businesses. Watch for further announcements, and remember, together we can make a difference.

Are you a rock star?
MEEKER — The Smoking River Pow Wow committee is looking for kids with lots of energy to help clear small rocks from the pow wow dance site, Tuesday, June 10 at 5:30 pm. at Ute Park, west of town. Volunteers will be treated to pizza and Rock Star T-shirts will be ordered for kids to wear to the first annual Smoking River Pow Wow to be held July 25-26.
