Dear Editor: The Todd Morris family would like to thank Meeker’s Volunteer Fire and Rescue for the outstanding job they did when Todd and Taylor had their accident July 26. The level of professionalism was outstanding. Also, to the staff at Pioneers Medical Center for their level of care in assessing Todd and Taylor’s conditions and taking the necessary precautions to ensure no further injuries were sustained. Upon our return home, the Meeker community has once again demonstrated that when times are tough, the community steps up to make the healing process a bit more bearable. Special thanks go out to Ginny and Sam Love, Kris and Henry Arcolesse of Ma Famiglia, Maria and Jeff Musgrave, the United Methodist Church of Meeker and Debbie and Jim Cook for the meals they brought. Each one of them were delicious and a welcome task to be removed from the list of things to do.Todd is recovering from his injuries, slowly but surely. Taylor has made a full recovery.Again, thank you for the words of kindness, the many cards and flowers and the prayers on our behalf. What a wonderful community we live in!Todd, Tonya, Trey and Taylor MorrisMeeker
