Obituary: Linda Allen

Linda J. Allen, age 64, of Grand Junction, Colo., passed away at her home. Her interests and hobbies were avid doll collecting, reading love novels, crafts and her Precious Moments collection. Linda was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge in Grand Junction. Linda is preceded in death by her parents Perry and Naomi McGruder (formerly of Meeker) and one daughter, Phyllis Jean Allen. She is survived by her husband Gary Allen Sr., and two sons, Gary Allen Jr., and Larry Allen; two daughters, Colleena Hilling and Hope Allen; three brothers, Perry, Mike and Dale McGruder; two sisters, Sandy Austin and Mary McGruder, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A memorial service was held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011, at Martin Mortuary. A potluck dinner followed at Mesa County Fairgrounds.
