RANGELY I This past weekend the Rangely lady Panthers basketball team traveled to Plateau Valley High School for a match against the Cowboys. After coming off their two-week winter break the Panthers beat the Cowboys in an impressive 47-13 victory. The entire roster seemed to be on top of their game while also working together well as a team.
Senior Haeley Enterline and junior Quincey Thacker both helped push the team to victory with 10 points each while junior Brittany Babineaux led the team in scoring with 13 points. Excelling on the defensive end of the court were freshman Aimee Hogan and Brittany Babineaux, with four steals each during the game.
Finally, Thacker had a huge impact and was a star in the paint, as she pulled down 20 rebounds in only 16 minutes of floor time.
The lady Panthers are excited about the victory and are looking forward to their back-to-back home games this weekend against Little Snake River and Soroco High School.
