RANGELY | Karl and Caron Wakefield of Rangely were arrested Jan. 21 on drug charges.
Rangely Police officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during a search Jan. 20 of the Wakefield residence, 505 W. Main St. space Nos. 15 and 16 in the Aspen Grove RV Park.
Caron Wakefield, 36, was arrested and charged with unlawful possession with intent to distribute schedule II controlled substance, a class 3 felony; unlawful possession of a schedule II controlled substance less than 1 gram, a class 6 felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class 2 petty offense.
Her husband, Karl Wakefield, 30, was also arrested and charged with unlawful dispensing of a schedule II controlled substance (methaphetamine), a class 3 felony; unlawful possession of a schedule II controlled substance (methaphetamine), less than 1 gram, a class 6 felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class 2 petty offense.
They were booked into the Rio Blanco County Detention Center in Meeker and released on bond.
