RANGELY | The Home Fire Campaign is a Red Cross program with the goal to reduce injuries and fatalities in home fires by 25 percent. This is done by teams of volunteers visiting homes to check smoke alarms for functionality, installing new smoke alarms where needed and providing basic fire safety education to residents. Come to the Rangely Chamber of Commerce at 255 E. Main, Suite A, between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 1, to be placed on the list for home smoke alarm installations. You will then be scheduled with a Red Cross volunteer and have up to three free smoke alarms installed.
