RBC I The WARM program in Rangely is at work again for the next several cold months. Winter assistance resource management (WARM) is a volunteer-run program supported by donations and grants. WARM assists local residents with their heating bill when income gets tight. With this economy and the potential for a long, cold winter, there will be many families that will need a little help. Special consideration is given to senior citizens and families with small children.
WARM applications are available at the Town of Rangely billing department along with applications for LEAP. The WARM Committee meets on the second Wednesday of each month to consider requests for assistance.
The program is funded by a grant from the Town of Rangely, Energy Outreach Colorado, and in the past many of the corporate donors in our area. Individuals and companies may make donations to the program at the Town billing office or simply add the amount to your monthly utility bill and mark the “Donation” box. All funds stay in the Rangely area to assist local residents.
