The 101st Army Dixieland Jazz Band, above, was joined by the 117th Avenue Allstars from Denver for a concert on the Rio Blanco County Courthouse lawn on Friday. More than 200 residents and visitors gathered to listen to a wide variety of tunes from the two bands, sponsored by the ERBM Recreation and Park District and enjoy free root beer floats handed out by the Meeker Chamber of Commerce. The next concert on the courthouse lawn will be July 12, featuring the Cowboy Dave Band at 6 p.m.
