Dennis Rohn is the new head coach for the Rangely Panthers and last week he put together a volleyball tournament for his players. The Panthers put three teams on the court and the varsity team finished third behind the champions from Vernal, Utah and a Rangely alumni team. Meeker also sent three teams with the varsity finishing fourth and the JV going undefeated. Playing on the Rangely varsity team were; front row; Simone Heinle, Tessa Slagle, Leslie Hernandez, Amie Hogan and Myria Moreno. Back row; Kelsey Prosser, Quincey Thacker, Haeley Enterline, Brittany Babineaux, McAle Pennell and Hailee Russell.
RANGELY I Nothing like getting tested early. Rangely Senior High’s volleyball team won three out of its four matches last weekend in a tournament at Glenwood Springs, including one against county rival Meeker.
