Paula Fessenden, 82, passed away on Feb. 16, 2010. Mrs. Fessenden taught first grade at Rangely Elementary School for 20 years. When she first started to teach in Rangely, she commuted from Bonanza, where her husband worked. They moved to Rangely and continued to enjoy teaching until she retired in 1985. After they retired, they moved to Aurora, where they enjoyed many years of retirement together. She had coped with Alzheimer’s disease for the past few years. Her husband, Paul, son Keith, granddaughters Megan and Kerry, son Carl (Joan), grandson Kim and granddaughter Nicole, survive her.
