HOME OF: Dave and Jean Jordan

RANGELY | Longtime Rangely residents Dave and Jean Jordan are this week’s “home of” honorees. The Jordans have lived in Rangely since 1978 and have been married 44 years.
Dave has worked in the oilfield industry for many years. Chevron and Energy Transfer employed him as a plant operator and pumper gauger. Dave is currently on medical disability. Dave has also been an EMT-I (emergency medical technician – intermediate) for the Rangely Ambulance Service for 15 years.
Jean has been an accounts payable technician for CNCC for the past three years. Prior to working for CNCC, Jean was the purchasing agent for Rangely District Hospital for 23 years.
The Jordans have two daughters. Their daughter Jeanette is married to Sam Jordan. “No relation. Jeanette and Sam met online. He was a contractor in Iraq for several years, working as a transportation logistics person. They currently live in Rangely. Jeanette works for the Rio Blanco Water Conservancy District,” explained Jean. Jeanette has two children. Her son Justin Prosser, 18, is a freshman at CNCC, and daughter Kelsey Prosser, 16, is a junior at Rangely Jr./Sr. High. Dave and Jean’s daughter Bobbie is married to Dan Fiscus. Dan works for EnCana and Bobbie works for Heart2Heart Respiratory Care. Bobbie and Dan have two sons, Jarrod, 12, is a seventh-grader at Rangely Jr./Sr. High and Jordan, 10, is in fourth grade at Parkview Elementary.
“We enjoy camping in our camper, fishing and hunting. We love our grandkids,” Jean said.
“I like that Rangely is a small town, that it doesn’t take you long to get across town and you don’t have to wait in line a long time. We came here a long time ago and this is where we made our home,” Jean added.
