Meeker Golf Course hosts “The Opener”

MEEKER — It’s the first tournament of the season at the Meeker Golf Course, a three-person scramble, also known as “the opener.” Ten teams competed in the 18-hole tournament.
“Everyone had a good time,” said Jim Cook, the pro at Meeker Golf Course.
Former Meeker golf pro Dennis Rohn, who has regained his amateur status, teamed up with Tommy Gilmore and Brett Tonozzi to win the tournament with a gross score of 60. The trio…
