Based on the hit 1976 film starring a pre-teen Scott Baio and Jodi Foster and featuring a catchy, swinging score by the composer of The Muppet Movie, Bugsy Malone Jr. is good, clean, comedic fun, and it’s coming to Meeker this weekend courtesy of the Meeker Arts and Cultural Council and ERBM Recreation and Park District.
Third through eighth-grade students have been rehearsing the musical for several weeks. Performances are set for tonight and tomorrow, Nov. 18 and 19, at 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2:30 p.m. All showings are at Meeker High School, and tickets are $5 at the door.
