It wasn’t all ribbon pulling and goat tying for county youngsters at the Lil’ Buckaroo Rodeo on Saturday at the Rio Blanco County Fair.
In the calf-riding event, above, Kenzie Turner of Meeker tried to “hang in there” perhaps a little bit longer than was necessary, but she survived without any major cuts or scrapes. Below, Jace Vroman of Meeker got something mixed up during the mutton busting event, bound and determined to stay on his sheep long as possible.
