It’s a very blustery Friday in Meeker!

OK, maybe not THAT windy, but close.

Tonight is the second performance of Beauty and the Beast Jr. at Meeker High School at 7 p.m., with a matinee performance Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Meeker Cowboys are headed to Arvada for the second round of playoff football competition. The game is at 3 p.m. on Saturday against Forge Christian. Go Cowboys!

And there’s a public meeting Monday evening at the Fairfield Center (200 Main St. at 6:30 p.m.) to discuss CPW’s plans for the next batch of wolves to be released in Colorado this year.
