Paper Day is LATE!

We were informed Wednesday afternoon that wildfire-related power outages and internet interruptions at the press in Montrose have delayed their ability to print this week’s paper by a full day. We won’t get our papers until sometime on Thursday. Single copies and subscriptions will be coming to you as soon as possible.

There’s a line in the Serenity Prayer I return to often: “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change…” This is one of those times I’ll be repeating that line a lot. Today is also my birthday. Can’t change that (or the number that goes with it) either!

Meanwhile, the online edition is available. If you have a print subscription, online access is included at no extra charge. Let us know and we’ll set it up, all we need is your email.

In other news, don’t miss the Kids’ Pet Show at the Thursday rodeo this week, and be sure to head downtown Friday for the last Meekerpalooza of the season, along with White River Electric Association’s annual meeting and membership appreciation dinner.
