The Town of Meeker spent a couple days last week putting up lights over four intersections on Main Street so they are in place for the Meeker Holiday Parade of Lights, which will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The holiday season begins in Meeker on Saturday with Small Business Saturday, when local shops will offer holiday deals. The Parade of Lights will also feature the lighting of the town Christmas tree, Meeker Elementary School Choir will perform, there will be a decorated wreath sale, caroling and fireworks.
