Wildfire Recovery Drop-In Meetings | Jan. 15, 22 & 29
Landowners affected by the Lee and Elk fires can stop by White River Conservation District drop-in meetings Thursdays from 1–4 p.m. at 345 7th St. No appointment needed; staff will be available to discuss recovery assistance programs.
Historical Society Annual Meeting | Jan. 18
The Rio Blanco County Historical Society meets Sunday, Jan. 18, at 1 p.m. at the Heritage Culture Center. Lunch will be provided, and Ron Hilkey will sign copies of Two Gone Guys, available for purchase.
Short Stories & Snacks Club | Jan. 24
Short on time? The Meeker Public Library’s Short Stories & Snacks Club meets Saturday, Jan. 24, at 11 a.m. to discuss The Lady, or the Tiger? Snacks provided.
Virtual Fencing on Working Lands | Jan. 29
Learn about virtual fencing options at an informational meeting Thursday, Jan. 29, at 6 p.m. at Kilowatt Korner. Open to landowners and grazing permittees.
Crafternoons at the Library | Jan. 30
Teens and tweens ages 10–18 can design buttons, merch, and more at Crafternoons on Friday, Jan. 30, from 3–5 p.m. at the Meeker Public Library.
Cardboard Derby Rescheduled
ERBM’s annual Cardboard Derby has been rescheduled for Saturday, Feb. 14, due to lack of snow.
Community First Aid Courses | Feb. & April
ERBM Recreation & Park District will host American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED classes. The first session is Saturday, Feb. 7, from 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Registration required.
Adult Open Gym Pickleball
Indoor pickleball is offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 9–11 a.m. at the Admin Gym. Ages 18+; punch pass required.
