Travel back in time…

Park Ranger Jan uses a laser light to point out details of the Dinosaur National Monument Quarry Exhibit Hall’s wall of dinosaur bones. Third-graders from Parkview Elementary School in Rangely took a field trip to the quarry and visitor’s center on Oct. 14, when they learned about, saw and touched a variety of fossils from the Morrison Formation. Students later took a nature walk and visited the homestead of Josie Bassett Morris, popularly known as Josie’s Cabin.
