Frying up fish for a fundrasier

White River Community Association had its annual fish fry fundraiser Saturday at the Buford Schoolhouse.
About 175 people attended. Helping with the fish frying were, from left, Garry Wright, Tommy Allen and Jessie Dorne. Fish caught during the Buy Fly Fishing Tournament in March were donated for the fundraiser, which benefits continued improvements at the historic schoolhouse. Another fish fry may be held in late summer or early fall, said association member Dee Weiss.
