The wildlife was out in the open on Sunday afternoon enjoying the warming sun and light breeze as spring is slowly making its presence known. This doe was part of a group of four mule deer does along County Road 8 only about 10 miles east of town. This was one of many groups of deer and elk to be seen alongside County Road 8 just a few miles east of Meeker to about the 30-mile marker.
