Letters To The Editor, Meeker, Opinion

Letter to the Editor: A heartfelt thank you

Dear Editor:
We find ourselves speechless with all that we have been blessed with: the love, support, prayers and the generosity of the town of Meeker’s community, businesses, churches, others from near and far towns and our family and friends during this challenging time.

Thank you to Molly Turner and Kim Rule for putting together and hosting the fundraising event. A thank you to all that helped with the event, people that donated for the auctions and everyone who came to support and were so generous for Robert (Bob) Shelton.
Help for the event: organizer Molly Turner, co-organizer Kim Rule, Regas Halandras, Michelle Morgan, Buckshot Sheridan, Coley and Kellie Turner, JH Sheridan, Kelley and Denise Sheridan, Kurt Blunt, Shelley Reynolds, Natasha Clatterbaugh, David Main and Band along with many others.
Donations from: Rocky Mountain Raised—All Natural Beef, LK Ranch, H&H Processing, Watts Ranch Market, Mexican House, Wendll’s, Meeker Cafe, WREA, Chippers, Ol’ Crows, Purkey’s Packing Plant, Mark and John Etchart, MGM, Clark’s Ranch, Adams Lodge Outfitting, Debbie Cook, Chip Brown, Blunt and Sheridan boys, Grant Dentistry, Christine Halandras, McGuire Auto Parts, Sable Ranch, Peach’s Car Wash, Wyatt’s Sporting Goods, Kevin Amack—State Farm, Brandy Jensen, Joe Gutierrez, Krule Construction, Shane Phelan/MHS Football, Prescriptions Salon and Spa, Theos Swallow Fork Ranch, Joe and Shona Green, Kent and Christy Borchard, Weatherford Electric, Buffalo Ranch, Sable Mountain Outfitters, Tom Allen, Kelley Sheridan, Joe Merriam, Bar 7 Ranch, Colby Shelton, Judy Shelton, Shawn Gibson, Randia Rule—Needlerock Mountain Realty, Trappers Lake, Randy Ridgeway, Zack and Tosha Clatterbaugh.
The amount of generosity from this event was amazing and our family will be donating 10% to HopeWest of Meeker and 10% to a program at the hospital for assistance with HPV vaccinations for preventive care.
Thank you and God bless you all,
The Shelton Family
