In September 2019, local business owners Jewell Kindler and Nancy Owens saw a need for local artisans to display and sell their hand crafted items. Kindler and Owens had the business background and the space to achieve their vision. They gathered together a few local vendors and Josephine’s Gifts was born. Named for Kindler’s mother, the gift shop offers a space in which local crafters can display and sell their work. Handcrafted items, arts and fine crafts, seasonal decor, jewelry, artisan soaps and much more can be found in the shop located at 640 Main St., Suite 2. Stop here and shop for the holidays. Currently, eight vendors have rented space in the shop, but there is always room for more.
