Dear Editor:
I was so impressed by the article in the paper about the ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act) award. The Meeker Elementary was honored by the Colorado Department of Education. out of 750 Colorado schools only two were selected and Meeker Elementary was one of them. Congratulations to the principal, the staff and anyone else who has a part in this program.
How exciting was the $10,000 check the school can use to improve programs.
We have an awesome school district. I’m proud to be a part of that history.
