Seven Lakes Lodge back on the market

More than 11,000 acres of private land located in the midst of the White River National Forest are up for grabs. Seven Lakes Lodge, owned by pro golfer Greg Norman, has been listed for $40 million.
This is the third attempt to sell the ranch in the past 10 years, this time for $15 million less than the original asking price.
The property features everything a mind-bogglingly rich sportsman could want, including seven private lakes from which the property gets its name, more than 8,000 acres for hunting, a clays course, and a private stretch of the White River for fishing. And don’t forget the location, of course. The listing touts views “stretching all the way to the mountains of Utah.”
The main lodge was redecorated in 2016 by Norman’s wife Kirsten, an interior designer. Forbes called the new dressings “a study in rustic chic” and there’s plenty, and we mean plenty, to study, with the main lodge’s footprint coming in right around 14,000 square feet.
The listing also includes a dance hall, barn, corrals, staff housing, various outbuildings, and several other cabins and lodges. There are 28 bedrooms and 30 bathrooms, all together.
“The White River Valley is blessed by being somewhat off the beaten path and has avoided large scale development seen in other Colorado river valleys. It has been discovered, however, by handful [sic] of discreet, stewardship-minded individuals who acquired large land holdings after being captivated by the beauty and recreation of the area,” a brochure from real estate company Hall and Hall reads.
Brian Smith out of Hall and Hall’s Steamboat Springs office is the listing agent. Smith sold Westlands to Michael Bloomberg last month.
