Kinzy Burke graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Northern Colorado (UNC) in Greeley on May 8, 2021. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. Kinzy was the 2020-2021 College of Natural and Health Sciences Academic Scholar Award winner. A second and prestigious honor Kinzy received was the William R. Ross Achievement Award. There were five other nominees out of 40 nursing students in the class of 2021. She received this award by a unanimous vote of the entire UNC nursing faculty. The William R. Ross Achievement Award is given annually to one student whose name appears on a plaque that hangs in Gunter Hall. It is in recognition of outstanding scholarship, leadership and service.
