Former Meeker High School graduate Marcus Kindall, now a student/pilot at Colorado Northwestern Community College, and several of his fellow Aero Club members were in Meeker Sunday for a Meeker Lions Club Bingo fundraiser. More than $700 was raised, which will be used to cover costs for the National Flight competition in Columbus, Ohio. The Aero Club will also raise funds hosting the annual Airport Fly In at the Rangely Airport April 30, offering 20-minute flights for $20.
