Colorado State Attorney General Phil Weiser and staff visited with hospital staff and local representatives at Pioneers Medical Center last week. Discussion revolved around Meeker’s potential, including outdoor recreation, county-owned fiber and low crime rates, and limiting factors like lack of housing and childcare. Weiser also surveyed the room on mental health access and addiction.
