Archery season begins…

Looking a little worse for wear, this herd of antelope had better look for a better hiding place than just off the north side of Highway 64 between Meeker and Rangely, about 50 yards off the pavement. Hunters are starting to converge on Rio Blanco County for the early archery/muzzleloader season, which starts here on Saturday, to be followed later by four rifle hunting seasons.
