Between shadows caused by heavy rain clouds on Saturday evening shone this potpourri of color in the sunshine below the Ripple Creek area about 40 miles east of Meeker. Nearly all colors of the autumn palette can be seen in this photo, taken minutes before a downpour at the upper end of County Road 8 on Saturday evening.
