RBC I The Winters’ Blessing Soap Company is Chrissy Winters (and her family’s) dream come true. Truly a family business, the Winters family all help make their handmade goat milk soaps from farm fresh milk they harvest from their small herd of Alpine dairy goats.
Starting with just four goats in 2011, the Winters’ Blessing Soap Company has grown substantially and along with the Farmer’s Market in Meeker, they now offer products for sale at local businesses throughout the Yampa and White River valleys including Samuelson’s True Value Hardware here in Meeker. In an interview, Chrissy Winters explained that they take a great deal of pride in the quality of their soaps. “We still milk our goats by hand, make small batches of soap and even sew our own bags that each bar is wrapped in.” They also have products such as goat milk lotion, lotion bars, emulsified sugar scrubs and lip balms.
