The application pertains to the existing Colowyo Coal Mine, Permit No. C-1981-019 by Colowyo Coal Company L.P., 5731 State Highway No. 13, Meeker, Colorado 81641, filed with the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (CDRMS), Colorado Department of Natural Resources, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203 and approved by the Division on April 5, 2013 (latest Permit Renewal). The Colowyo Mine is located approximately 28 miles south of Craig, Colorado. The bond release areas, which include areas reclaimed from 1996 to 2014, total 189.6 acres, and are shown in detail in Exhibit 1. Listed below is a general legal description of these areas: Township 3 North, Range 93 West of the 6th P.M. Section 3 – SW1/4 of the N1/2 Section 4 – N 1/2, NE 1/4; Section 10 -N 1/2; Section 15 – NW 1/4; Section 16 – SW1/4 of the S1/2 Section 17 – N 1/2; Section 20 – NE 1/4; Section 21 – NW 1/4; Colowyo currently holds a self-bond (Bond No. SB-010) in the amount of $80,517,829. Sealed BIDS for construction of the Town of Rangely Water Treatment Plant Structural Improvements Phase 2.5, will be received by the Town of Rangely at Town Hall, 209 E. Main Street, Rangely, Colorado, 81648, until 3:00pm, Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project generally consists of structural stabilization of the existing water treatment facility, roof and parapet wall repairs, and addition of flexible joints to buried piping between the plant s treatment trains. A Bid Bond will be required. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required upon contract award. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday June 23, 2015, at the Town of Rangely Water Treatment Plant located at 2000 E. Main Street (HWY 64) in Rangely, Colorado. One set of 11 x17 drawings and a Project Manual with specifications and one electronic disk of pdf s of the Contract Documents will be furnished to potential bidders for a fee of $100.00 after June 18, 2015. Electronic documents are availablefree of charge after June 18, 2015 from the Town of Rangely at Town Hall, 209 E. Main Street, Rangely, Colorado, 81648. PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF AERIAL SPRAYING FOR CONTROL OF FLIES AND MOSQUITOES
The Town Board has determined that it is in the public interest to conduct aerial spraying along the river within the Town limits and outlying adjacent areas. Aerial spraying will be conducted within the Town limits just after daybreak beginning June 20th through July 2nd, 2015 depending upon weather conditions.
