2nd STREET SEWER LINE REPLACEMENT
MEEKER SANITATION DISTRICT

Sealed BIDS for construction of 2nd St. Sewer Line Replacement will be received at the Meeker Sanitation District Office, 265 8th St, Meeker, CO 81641 until 5:00pm Wednesday, September 30th 2015. At 7:00 pm bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project generally consists of the following improvements to the existing sewage collection system:
The project consists of construction of a new 8″ PVC sewer line adjacent to an existing 6″ line located along the West edge of 2nd St. The project entails approximately 550′ of new sewer line and four new manholes. Eleven existing service lines, currently connected to the existing sewer line, will be reconnected to the new 8″ line. Tie-in of the new sewer line to an existing 8″ PVC line will be performed on 2nd St, South of Cedar St. The project includes all asphalt patching and concrete repair/patching to match existing conditions. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will only be accepted from qualified general contractors that have demonstrated experience in construction projects of this type. A Bid Bond, in the amount of 5% will be required and must accompany the bid. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required upon contract award. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the intersection of 2nd St. and Cedar St., Meeker, CO. Board of County Commissioners Hearings:
• J. Abbott Minor Subdivision 15-04. The applicant is requesting to
subdivide the property to create three lots at 71855 Highway 64, Meeker CO, in Sections 19 and 30 T1N, R94W.
• J. Abbott Subdivision Exemption 15-01. The applicant is requesting a determination from the Board of County Commissioners that the portions of land involved, do not meet the statutory definition of subdivision under C.R.S. §30-28-101(10)(d), allowing the applicant to sever an existing parcel on the North side of Highway 64 and creating a new parcel on the South side of Highway 64. The property is located at 71855 Highway 64 in Meeker CO, in Section 30, T1N, R94W.
• Special Use Permit 15-3 – Commnet/South Tower. Applicant is requesting an SUP to install a wireless communication site including a 120′ tower and ground electronic cabinets, enclosed in a 6′ fence with a 12′ access road located at 839 Little Rancho Drive South, Meeker, CO, Section 20, T2S, R94W.

ADJUSTMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF A VARIANCE HEARING
• Board of Adjustments Hearing: Meeker West Tower Variance 15-04. The
applicant is requesting a variance from the LUR requirement for setbacks to be the height of the tower plus 10’ from nearest property line. The Tower is 51’3” from the property line to the south and the Tower is 195’ in height plus 4’ for the lightning rod. The property is located 1.5 miles north of the intersection of Highway 64 and County Road 32, Meeker, CO 81641 in Section 13 T1N, R95W.
