The bright yellows, light greens and light reds shone brightly in the sun on Saturday about two miles north of the summit of Nine Mile Hill, north of Meeker along Highway 13. The area has not yet hit the peak of color change but is rapidly approaching that point — possibly by this weekend or early next week.
