Come work on the trails May 2-4
MEEKER | MAMBA, the BLM and ERBM Recreation and Park District will be doing a volunteer work weekend on the mornings of May 2,3,4. Come join the crew and help get the trails cleaned up and ready for a long summer of adventure. The BLM and ERBM will have extra tools. Some drinks and snacks will be provided. Bring your backpack and work gloves and meet at the Hill Street Ute Park trail entrance at 8 a.m.
Free Fire Preparedness Bootcamp for Landowners May 10
MEEKER | Saturday, May 10, 10-2 p.m. (lunch included) the CR 8 campgrounds (mile marker 24). Celebrate National Fire Awareness Month by joining us for an outdoor workshop in collaboration with our partners. Workshop stations will include: creating defensible space, chainsaw 101 safety, stacking for chipping, slash management, how to harden your home and a reflective 911 address sign making station.
