Community theater production of ‘Matilda’ postponed

MEEKER | The Meeker Arts and Cultural Council’s production of Roald Dahl’s “Matilda: The Musical” scheduled for this weekend has been postponed due to the wildfires and will be rescheduled. 

Circle Park remains closed during final construction

MEEKER | The public is reminded that Circle Park remains closed to the public during final construction. Unauthorized access may result in a trespass violation. Youth Coed Volleyball this August

MEEKER | Youth Coed Volleyball returns in August! Third and fourth grade will practice Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. beginning Aug. 18. Fifth and sixth graders will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. beginning Aug. 19. Sign up by Aug. 13 at erbmrec.com/register. MEEKER | ERBM Recreation & Park District’s fall activity calendar is coming soon! MHS Summer Football Clinic Aug. 13

MEEKER | Learn the fundamentals of football from Meeker High School athletes! Coaches and team members will teach a sports clinic Wednesday, Aug. 13, at the BMS Practice Field. Kindergarten through fifth grade will practice from 10-11:30 a.m. Sixth through eighth grade will practice from 1-2 p.m. $5/person at the door, cash or check only. All proceeds benefit MHS Athletics! 

Septemberfest at the TANK Aug. 30-Sept. 1

RANGELY | For this year’s Septemberfest, the TANK presents a rare treat, a three-day recorded installation of gorgeous medieval singing from New York’s much-praised early music group TENET. TENET has won acclaim for its innovative programming, virtuosic singing and command of a repertoire spanning the Middle Ages to the present. In The TANK, these sacred songs will be uplifting and transcendental. Presented free of charge, Aug. 1-Sept. 1. 9am-1pm and 7-9pm Saturday and Sunday.
