Breakfast with Santa, Dec. 6
MEEKER | Join us for a visit with Santa and free breakfast provided by the Meeker Lions Club Saturday, Dec. 6 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m at the Fairfield Center, 200 Main St. Enjoy pancakes, eggs, and sausage and share your Christmas wishes with Santa. Please bring nonperishables to donate to the local food pantry.
4-H Club collecting donations for animals this weekend
MEEKER |The Four Leaf Clovers (4-H Club) will be collecting donations for animals at Meeker’s Old Fashioned Christmas. Donations will benefit the Meeker Animal Shelter, the Meeker Cat Coalition, and the Rangely Animal Shelter. Items needed include leashes, collars, toys, blankets (no stuffing please), snacks, dog food, and cat food (Purina Cat Chow and Iams). The Four Leaf Clovers will have a booth near the courthouse for donation drop-offs.

RANGELY | The fourth annual craft show/bazaar will be held Dec. 6 at the EEC building (402 W Main) in Rangely. This is going to be a great show with your favorite vendors from past years to new and exciting vendors. A great place to do your Christmas shopping!
Meeker Library Book Club Dec. 8
MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library Book Club is reading The World’s Strongest Librarian by Josh Hanagarne. We will meet to discuss the book at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, Dec. 8, at 1 p.m. Extra copies are available for check out at the library. The memoir is also available as an audiobook on hoopla and as an ebook or audiobook on Libby. New members are always welcome!
