Free Community Meal this Sunday
MEEKER | The Meeker United Methodist Church is hosting a free taco bar with sides on Sunday, Feb. 2 from 12-1:30 p.m. at St. James’ Episcopal Church in Richards’ Hall (368 4th St.) The church will be accepting monetary donations for California fire victims.
Library book club
MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library book club is reading The Conditions of Unconditional Love by Alexander McCall Smith. We will meet to discuss the book at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. Extra copies are available for check out at the library if you would like to join in the fun. Nominations open for JustServe Award
RBC | Nominations are open for the fourth annual JustServe Award, to recognize outstanding contributions to the local community through volunteer service. Anyone or any agency from northwest Colorado is invited to apply or to nominate someone else. Nominees and winners do not need to use the JustServe site to apply for the award. Submissions are due by Feb. 15. Please email the NW Colorado JustServe coordinator, [email protected]. JustServe will coordinate a service activity or donation drive to benefit the winning organization.
