Babysitter Training Course July 11-12
MEEKER | ERBM Recreation & Park District is hosting a Babysitter Training Course for teens ages 12–18. The program will cover basic childcare, leadership, professionalism, safety, and how to start a babysitting business, as well as Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications from the American Red Cross. Friday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday, July 12, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. $75/person includes official certificates and a reference book to keep. Library book club to meet July 14
MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library book club is reading “Tattoos on the Heart” by Gregory Boyle. We will meet to discuss the book at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, July 14, at 1 p.m. Extra copies are available for check out at the library if you would like to join in the fun. New members are always welcome!
Final summer Meekerpalooza July 18
MEEKER | Soak up summer fun at the final Meekerpalooza on Friday, July 18 in downtown Meeker Shop the Meeker Market from 4 to 8 p.m., enjoy the beer garden and live music by the Hugh Phillips Band starting at 5, and take advantage of WREA’s Annual Meeting & Membership Appreciation Dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Complimentary pulled pork sandwiches served by the Meeker Lions Club, giveaways, and more!

MHS Volleyball Clinic July 16
MEEKER | Mark your calendars for the MHS Volleyball Clinic Wednesday, July 16 at Meeker High School. K-4th Grade will practice from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 5th-8th Grade will practice from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $5/person, cash or check at the door. All proceeds benefit MHS Athletics!
