Final Meekerpalooza, WREA annual meeting and member appreciation Friday
MEEKER | Soak up summer fun at the final Meekerpalooza on Friday, July 18 in downtown Meeker Shop the Meeker Market from 4 to 8 p.m., enjoy the beer garden and live music by the Hugh Phillips Band starting at 5, and take advantage of WREA’s Annual Meeting & Membership Appreciation Dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Complimentary pulled pork sandwiches served by the Meeker Lions Club, giveaways, and more!
County Fair setup event on Sunday
MEEKER | The Rio Blanco County Fair will kick off with a setup event and party at the Rio Blanco County Fairgrounds on Sunday, July 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fair participants, 4-H friends and families are encouraged to join the Fair Board, CSU Extension and Rio Blanco County staff to prepare for the week’s events. The County will provide hot dogs, chips and drinks for volunteers.
Ice Cream Social this Sunday evening
MEEKER | The Rio Blanco County Historical Society is hosting an ice cream social this Sunday, July 20, at 6 p.m. in the courtyard at the Heritage Culture Center. There will be cake and ice cream, birthday celebrations, and storytelling and sharing. All are welcome!

MEEKER | The public is reminded that Circle Park remains closed to the public during final construction. Unauthorized access may result in a trespass violation. Library book club to meet Aug. 11
MEEKER | The Meeker Public Library book club is reading Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver. We will meet to discuss the book at the Meeker Public Library on Monday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. Extra copies are available for check out at the library if you would like to join in the fun.
