Book club Aug. 14

MEEKER | The book club book will be reading Troubled Trails: the Meeker affair and the expulsion of the Utes from Colorado by Robert Silbernagel. We will discuss the book on Monday, Aug. 14 at 1 p.m. All are welcome to join in the fun.

History Colorado preservation workshop July 25

MEEKER | History Colorado experts will discuss and answer questions about benefits of historic preservation, tax benefits, incentives, certified local government and more at the Preservation Workshop, July 25, 2023 at the Heritage Culture Center, 517 Park Ave., from 10 a.m. until noon.

Meeker Christian Community Book Club group meeting at St. James Episcopal Church

MEEKER | The Meeker Christian Community Book Club has selected “Love Wins” by Rob Bell as our next read. We will meet in about three weeks to discuss the first half of the book at St. James Episcopal Church. Details will be posted soon. Town of Meeker Housing workshop July 20

MEEKER | The Town of Meeker will host a workshop with Ayres Associates to participate in discussions regarding the future of housing in Meeker as we work towards a comprehensive Housing Needs Assessment and Action Plan. The workshop will be Thursday, July 20 at 5 p.m. at Meeker Town Hall, 345 Market Street. RSVP to [email protected], and complete the Housing Survey at www.surveymonkey.com/r/meeker
